But what often feels less than exciting is the logistical challenges of organising the finer details from abroad. Finding a hair and makeup artist for your wedding day is important enough when you’re having it at home, but it can be doubly challenging when you’re navigating a whole different country too.

I’m a highly skilled and qualified hair and makeup artist with numerous destination weddings under my belt, including frequent bookings for weddings in Mallorca, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu and Lake Como (and plenty of lovely others). This means…

I’m highly organised and trustworthy, meaning you won’t need to worry about me missing my flight, but take the utmost care in my personal touch, meaning I’ll always be at the end of the phone for anything (unless i’m on the flight itself, that is!). I’m totally invested in your wedding, from the point of booking right through until we’ve waved you off on the day itself.
I’ve got a makeup kit full of the highest end hair and makeup products designed to withstand these warmer climates (and colder too!) and last all day.
I’m constantly keeping on top of the relevant trends and skills required to create those sought-after Pinterest-worthy hair and makeup looks, with your own twist.
I’m a calming and friendly presence on the morning of your wedding, there to calm your nerves but keep the wedding buzz flowing also!
If required, I can also be based at your wedding venue all day for any hair and makeup touches or changes.

+ I’m worried about the heat! Will my hair and makeup last all day?

My job as a destination wedding hair and makeup artist is threefold: to make you feel calm, and to make you feel confident, all day! It’s part of my job to ensure that your hair and makeup will last all day and into the evening. I’ve hand selected the most beautiful, high-end products to create gorgeous glow without shine, and that beautiful romantic up-do without the humidity causing any frizz. I always account for a longer time getting ready when working abroad, because the key to getting flawless, lasting hair and make up is the prep-work. I always provide a hair and makeup top up kit too, to help you take care of it.

+ I’d like a trial before the day - how do they work with a destination wedding hair and makeup artist?

Of course! I always ensure we have a trial first, so that you can relax in the knowledge that we’re a good fit. If you’re based in the UK, then we can arrange a trial here (which would either take place at my home in Kent, or somewhere halfway if you’re based elsewhere). If you’re based further afield, we can arrange a trial to take place a couple of days before your wedding at the destination of your ceremony.

+ I want to know you’re the right destination wedding hair and makeup artist for me - can we chat on the phone first?

100% yes! I actively encourage this, because I love to hear all about the details for your day! As well as it being a nice way to answer any initial queries you may have, it’s a great way for me to start building an idea of the hair and makeup idea you’re looking for.

+ I’ve got a large bridal party - can you accommodate us all?

When I’m working on my own, I can cater to a certain number of people - you can see the full breakdown of my various packages here. However, if we need any additional hair and makeup, I can arrange to work with someone I know and trust.
