My Story
Working in the UK and overseas, I’m a professional Hair and Makeup Artist with over 15 years’ experience.
I’ve always been artistic. From a very young age, I found myself captivated by theatre, ballet and books. I was fascinated by storytelling, transformation, and the emotional depth behind each performance. This is where my love of artistry and visual beauty began.
Eventually, I went on to study Hair & Makeup Design at Southampton Solent University. Since graduating, my career has been beautifully varied. I could never have imagined my passion for hair and makeup would one day take me to so many beautiful places, with such incredible clients. I feel genuinely lucky that it has.
My Beauty Ethos
Clients often tell me they’re drawn to my work because my brides look genuinely happy in their photos. I see it too – they exude the kind of confidence that only comes from feeling completely understood and entirely yourself.
My signature style is radiant, glowing, and elevated. I’m not interested in creating carbon copies of what’s currently trending, and I don’t believe in adhering to narrow beauty standards. Rather than unattainable, heavily filtered perfection, I’m committed to celebrating real skin and every hair colour, length, and texture.
On your wedding day, more than any other, your hair and makeup should be a true reflection of your personal style, not a departure from it. Everything I do is done with intention, and I always want to honour the person in front of me, exactly as they are.

The Destination Collective
As a natural evolution of the Jessica Hawkins brand, I founded The Destination Collective with one clear intention in mind – to deliver a beauty experience for destination brides that’s not only seamless, luxurious and professional, but also deeply personal.
Covering France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia and venues worldwide, we’re a small team of four who work and travel together, bringing a shared energy and deep connection that can’t be replicated. Everything we do is built on unity underscored by artistry and skill.

Laura
Laura and I first met when she completed her industry placement with me, assisting at a number of weddings in the UK and overseas. Upon graduating, she joined the team on a permanent basis.
Laura brings a calm, serene energy to every wedding she works on. Her signature style centres around polished radiance, enhancing her clients’ natural features with softness and sophistication.
Hannah
With a calm, warm demeanour, Hannah is an incredibly talented, versatile member of the team, working seamlessly across both hair and makeup. Specialising in soft, modern up-dos, she creates beautifully romantic hairstyles with a contemporary feel. Her approach to makeup is all about creating soft, glowing looks while celebrating her clients’ natural beauty. Her ability to tame even the unruliest hair is invaluable, and her calming presence puts everyone at ease.
Lisa
Lisa trained in hairdressing at Hebe Hair salon in Trafalgar Square before going on to work at the in-house salon at Fortnum & Mason where she styled high-profile clients with ease and professionalism. This experience gives Lisa a wealth of knowledge and the ability to work confidently across a wide range of hair types and styles. She’s known as the queen of blow-drying and her warm, grounding energy will instantly relax you on your wedding morning.
A Little More
About Me
I live in a small seaside town on the Kent coast with my husband, Matt.
He’s a wedding photographer, so we often work together, both here in the UK and internationally.
Travel is a huge part of who I am, and I love exploring the world, but I also enjoy the slower pace of life at home. I’ve visited some incredible places, but the beauty of a Whitstable summer sunset is hard to beat!
I still enjoy losing myself in a good book. I’m also a keen runner (it’s my favourite way to decompress), and I love cold water swimming, paddleboarding, or just being near the sea. It’s probably where I feel most at peace. Outside of wedding season, you’ll often find Matt and me hunkering down in Cornwall, switching off and recharging our batteries.
