A Came House Wedding Morning In Dorset

Came House Dorset
Nestled in the heart of Dorset, Came House is one of those venues that has a real touch of something truly special about it. This beautiful Palladian country house is one of my all-time favourite venues in the UK to work at.
The bridal suite is light, airy and opulent, yet still warm, the perfect space for creating beautiful hair and makeup looks.
This wedding morning was everything I love about bridal beauty: calm, elegant, and unhurried, with plenty of time to care for a bridal party of 11.
The Dress & Colour Palette – Bridgerton Blue
My bride Madeline wore a beautiful Suzanne Neville gown with a square neckline, the fabric had a beautiful brocade texture, and the elegant, sculptural lines gave the dress a completely modern feel.
The structure of the dress paired perfectly with her chosen bridal palette: Bridgerton blue, woven subtly throughout the day.
That soft blue hue, with touches of lemon yellow, brought a romantic but fresh feel to this midsummer wedding day.
The whole day was captured beautifully by Siobhan Beales Photography

Makeup Artist Dorset – The Makeup: Fresh, Elevated & Radiant
For Madeline’s makeup, the brief was clear:
“I want to look like myself, just a little more radiant.”
We created a look that felt fresh, luminous, and elevated, enhancing her natural features rather than masking them. This wasn’t about trends or heavy makeup looks, it was about creating a makeup look where Madeline felt confidence and completely herself.
Hair and makeup is often the moment where time slows down, pause before everything accelerates, it is incredibly important to us that our brides have this experience on the day.

Base
- Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Serum, Enriched Eye Base & Face Base – my go-to for a smooth, oil-free canvas.
- Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (Shade 3) – used as a glowy primer to give luminosity without the sheen.
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation – Shade 3 & 4 Mixed
- Bobbi Brown Corrector + Charlotte Tilbury Concealer – to brighten and balance under the eyes.
- Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Cream Bronzer – for warmth and sculpting the face for a seamless bronzed glow.
- Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlight – In shade Crystal Nebula a cream formula that adds light without shimmer.
- Hourglass Veil – Translucent Powder & Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder – To set the finished look.
Eyes
Madeline’s eye makeup was built around soft, sculpted definition that would look beautiful in natural daylight and translate effortlessly on camera.
We started with the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Warm Paletteto create shape and subtle depth. I then layered a bronzer over the eye socket before buffing in warm peach tones using the By Terry Brightening CC Palette in Sunny Flash, which added a soft wash of colour that enhanced Madeline’s natural eye tone without overpowering it.
To define the lash line, I used MAC Costa Riche, a warm, soft brown kohl that blends easily and brings gentle warmth to the look. We finished with Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Waterproof Mascara, and built up the lash line using individual lashes for a bespoke, fluttery finish.

Cheeks & Lips
We used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in shade Radiant Bronze Light to sculpt the face before using Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Sublime Flush to create a beautiful radiant glow.
For Madeline’s lip colour a Charlotte Tilbury Lip Line in shade Pink Venus combined with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in shade Mrs Kisses
I used a beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in shade Sweet Stiletto to finish the look.
